A General Update and a Request:

Just when we thought that BMRCL would finally allow cycles on the metro (refer to link pasted below), they reverted their decision and said that only foldable cycles are allowed, preferably during non peak hours. BMRCL isn't even willing to discuss the feasibility of this plan before we 'build a (bigger) consensus'. They're argument is that "the opinion of people is not generated by written petitions" and they want to "wait and watch". The Bangalore Metro was strated almost 5 years ago! How much longer should we "wait and watch"? BMRCL keeps stating that commuters are complaining of inconvenience. But, BMRCL isn't furnishing any proof to support their statement even after asking them to do so repeatedly. Please do spread the word about this petition to your friends and family as we require maximum number of signatures to build a bigger 'consensus'.
