BEC Fiber Update

Dear Neighbors, It has been several weeks since I have provided an updated. In the interim, you will have certainly noticed many workman in our community installing the BEC Fiber System. I have had the opportunity to speak with many of the crew who have consistently noted our community is very welcoming and hospitable. I always respond confirming the good nature of our community while adding "it certainly helps that they are bringing a valuable asset (fiber) that is long overdue." It should not be long before the fiber is connected to your homes and I will definitely post updates as that occurs. On a related note, I have received numerous email and phone calls about GVTC asking homeowners grant them easement access so they may, in turn, install their fiber system. In response, I provide the same feedback, namely, the easement is your private property. As such, you may decide to approve/disapprove access to the easement. You are not obligated to grant access despite any claims that may be communicated to you by the representative. Please contact me should you have questions or require additional information.
