Remake Tekken 1, 2, 3, Tag Tournament 1, and 4 for Arcades and Consoles

The Issue

Remember the Tekken Trilogy? And Tekken Tag Tournament 1? And Tekken 4? The games that you played on arcades, PSX, and PS2? Tekken 4 was the Black Sheep of the Tekken series. Apparently, people find it to be the worst game in the Tekken series. Well, anyway, I think we need remakes of these games. The Tekken 4 Remake should serve as a soft reboot of the Tekken series and retcon every game after it. If this were to happen, we'd need prologues, interludes, and epilogues/endings for each and every characters' storyline (like in Tekken 4 and 5), additional characters with new storylines, new stages, etc. We'd also need a large cast of Bandai Namco composers, SEGA composers, Square Enix composers, and freelancing composers, including Shinji Hosoe, Nobuyoshi Sano, Keiichi Okabe, Yuu Miyake, Satoru Kōsaki, Hiroshi Okubo, Kohta Takahashi, Go Shiina, Hitoshi Sakimoto, Masaharu Iwata, Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Yuzo Koshiro, Hidenori Shoji, Daiki Kasho, Hideki Sakamoto, Norihiko Hibino, Takahiro Izutani, Hideki Naganuma, Takahito Eguchi, Masashi Hamauzu, Kenji Ito, Yasunori Mitsuda, Junya Nakano, Yoko Shimomura, Nobuko Tudo, Yusuke Kudo, ACE (TOMOri Kudo / CHiCO), Yu Sugimoto, Daniel Lindholm, and Takayuki Nakamura, with a few new composers, Yudai Yamaji (YouTube: yudai1981), Fahad Lami AKA FahadLamiRemix (YouTube: Fahad Lami), and James Garrison Summers AKA JGS (YouTube: JGS Music), to remake the music from both the arcade and console versions and compose new music for both the arcade and console versions. By the way, I hope they’ll get Antonio Ploszay (Tekken 4 Announcer/Narrator) to return as the Announcer/Narrator. Do you have any suggestions for these remakes? Here are some suggestions I have for these remakes and for the future of the Tekken franchise (I apologize in advance if I repeat myself):

- Announcer/Narrator: I think they should bring back Antonio Ploszay (Announcer/Narrator for Tekken 4), as I mentioned before.

- Stages from Tekken 1, Tekken 2, Tekken 3, and Tekken Tag Tournament 1 redesigned to be realistic, innovative, and uneven, like in Tekken 4.

- Bring back Character Themes, like in Tekken 2 and 3.

- Heihachi Mishima: Since neither Daisuke Gori nor Unsho Ishizuka are with us anymore, they could get Taiten Kusunoki as his new voice actor.

- Bryan Fury: They should bring back his original laugh from Tekken 3-5, and decompress/fix the audio quality. They should also get David Schaufele to return, not only for his battle grunts, but also for his speaking voice. Recycle his battle grunts from Tekken 4 and 5, and, like I said, decompress/fix the audio quality.

- Jack Series: They should get Banjo Ginga to return as the Jack Series' voice and recycle the Jack Series' voice from Tekken 1-5, and decompress/fix the audio quality. They should also make Jack-4 a playable character for the Tekken 4 remake.

- Law: Bring back his stance from Tekken 3-5 and recycle his battle grunts from Tekken 3-5, and decompress/fix the audio quality. Bring back Robert Clotworthy as Marshall Law for his speaking voice. Keep David Vincent as Forest Law for his speaking voice and his battle grunts. Bring back Marshall Law's mustache from Tekken 3-5. Treat both Marshall and Forest like actual characters, who just so happen to have some comedic elements to their personalities, instead of treating them like walking punchlines. Make both Marshall and Forest comic relief, but also badass.

- Paul Phoenix: Bring back Eric Kelso for his speaking voice and his battle grunts. Recycle his battle grunts from Tekken 4 and 5, and decompress/fix the audio quality. Keep the comedic elements of his character, like the little running gag of how he can’t do his buddy Law's backflip kick, but don’t overdo it. Make him headstrong and determined, instead of making him a cocky, egotistical moron. Treat him like an actual character, who just so happens to have some comedic elements to his personality and can actually rival Kazuya, instead of treating him like a walking punchline. Make him comic relief, but also badass.

- King: Recycle his voice from Tekken 3-5, and decompress/fix the audio quality.

- Craig Marduk: Bring back Marcellus Nealy as his voice actor, and recycle his voice from Tekken 5 and 6, and decompress/fix the audio quality.

- Yoshimitsu: Recycle his voice from Tekken 4 and 5, and decompress/fix the audio quality.

- Baek Doo San: Recycle his voice from Tekken 5, and decompress/fix the audio quality.

- Lei Wulong: Recycle his voice from Tekken 4 and 5, and decompress/fix the audio quality.

- Ling Xiaoyu: Bring back Yumi Tōma as her voice actress, for her speaking voice and her battle grunts. Recycle her voice from Tekken 4-6.

- Atmosphere and Aesthetics: Make them darker, more serious, more gritty, and more urban, like in Tekken 4.

- Storylines: Give each and every character their own individual storylines. Make them more serious and more fleshed-out, like in Tekken 4.

- Realism. The Tekken series and its character models need to return to being realistic. Well, maybe not exactly "realistic", per se. Maybe less goofy. Also, grabs should have a heavy emphasis on repositioning, players should be able to move the characters they're playing as before the round starts, the Tekken series should have more realistic, innovative, and uneven stages, the characters should be more relatable, and the Tekken series needs more grounded and more serious storylines with some heavy themes/subject matter and taboo topics such as alcoholism and depression.

- Personality. Give each and every character their own personality. Especially in animations such as facial animations, intro poses, and win poses.

- Find a good balance between serious and comical.

- Expand on Character Rivalries. Especially the rivalries between Kazuya and Paul, Paul and Law, Law and Baek, King and Armor King, King and Marduk, Armor King and Marduk, Kazuya and Bruce, Lei and Bruce, Jin and Hwoarang, Steve and Hwoarang, Steve and Bruce, and many others. And create more character rivalries. Each and every character, especially the Mishimas and the Kazamas (and characters related to them), and Nina and Anna Williams, should have multiple rivalries, and each and every rivalry should be developed and expanded.

- Give Side Characters some more love, more respect, and more depth, and take them more seriously. I know the Mishimas and the Kazamas (and characters related to them) are the main focus of the Tekken series, but let’s also focus on side characters, especially Nina, Anna, and Steve, and characters such as King, Armor King, Marduk, Yoshimitsu, Bryan, and Kunimitsu, and especially comic relief characters like Paul and Law, and give them some more love, more respect, and more depth, and treat them like actual characters with personality, instead of treating them like jokes and repeating the same storylines over and over.

- Bring back Replays. Especially the slow motion replays at the end of each round.

- EMBUs: Make new EMBUs for Tekken 1 and 2, and remake the EMBUs of Tekken 3, Tekken Tag Tournament 1, and Tekken 4.

They should also add Kazuya Mishima as a playable character for the Tekken 3 remake. They should also have Yoshimitsu and Bryan Fury become allies, working together to achieve shared or similar goals, instead of having Bryan kill Dr. Bosconovitch and the Manji Clan, but have them also still be rivals. Also, Square Enix, DreamFactory, SEGA, and Bandai Namco should co-develop remakes of Ehrgeiz and The Bouncer AND sequels to Ehrgeiz and The Bouncer, and remakes of Tobal No. 1 and Tobal 2, and make Tobal 3, for consoles and PC. Oh! And I also think that Bandai Namco and SEGA should make Tekken X Virtua Fighter.
