

The findings of research at Manchester Uni are shocking and yet not unpredictable, given the inhalation of inflammation-causing propylene glycol, nicotine and other chemicals in the vape aerosol, including those formed by the heating process.
The study shows some very concerning primary biological changes are the same for those who vape and for tobacco smokers.
In NZ 20% of 18-24 year olds vape regularly, and other demographics including children have extremely high vaping rates also, yet the Coalition government remains intensely supportive of vape marketing and understates risks, as Labour did before it. NZ is an outlier here, as often stated. The WHO strongly advises banning or at least tight regulation of vapes. We do neither.
