Recently, Victor Willis, the lead singer of The Village People, came out as homophobic by bashing the LGBTQ+ community and having his band agree to play at an anti-LGBTQ+ event. I have noticed that for years at Wrigley Field whenever the visiting team makes a pitching change, they tend to play "YMCA" by The Village People. Songs written by bigots should not be embraced at Wrigley Field, let alone anywhere in professional sports!
