Ban the use of Meat Glue in food

The Issue

In 2010 the use of meat glue in food products was banned under EU guidelines.

This petition is to ban all meat glue products in UK food production/manufacturing and UK food sales.

Meat Glue (commonly labelled TG Enzyme, Enzyme or TGP Enzyme) is legal to use in production and food manufacturing in the UK.

Meat Glue is found in unhealthy products such as chicken nuggets, manufactured meat and poultry, fast foods, processed meats, sausages and hotdogs.

There is a high possibility that schools and other public canteens serve meat glue products to children without their knowledge and without their parents knowledge.

Meat glue misleads consumers.

Academic scholars believe there are risks to TG. References and citations can be found in the Open Source Scholarly Community Encyclopaedia; https://encyclopedia.pub/entry/15311 (references section).

Act today to stop meat glue being used in the UK food supply.
