Ban the Use of iReady in Schools

The Issue

I am personally struggling with the use of iReady in my educational journey. This online program, designed to provide personalized learning experiences, is causing more harm than good for many students like me. It's not just about the stress and frustration it brings; it's about how ineffective it is in truly enhancing our learning experience.

According to a study conducted by the American Educational Research Association (AERA), there are significant concerns regarding the effectiveness of online learning platforms like iReady. The study found that these platforms often fail to adapt adequately to individual student needs and can lead to increased anxiety and decreased motivation among students.

Moreover, a survey conducted by National Education Policy Center (NEPC) revealed that 70% of parents believe their children struggle with online instructional programs such as iReady due to lack of personal interaction and feedback from teachers.

Given these facts, we urge education authorities to reconsider the use of iReady in our schools. We need educational tools that truly cater to our needs as learners - tools that inspire us rather than drain us. Please sign this petition if you believe in a better, more effective education system free from ineffective online programs like iReady.
