Star of Downton Abbey, Unforgotten and After Life, actor and animal campaigner Peter Egan, has tabled a new Parliament petition calling for the Government to change to law to allow registered animal charities to ban experiments on Beagles, and other animals.

Current law forbids these animal charities from ending experiments on dogs, and other animals.

Laboratory Beagles need all the help they can get, and registered charities should be allowed to ban experiments on these dogs, by law, which they are currently not allowed to do.
