Thank you for supporting this petition. In the past few days, we managed to convince a few societies in Gurgaon to cancel rain dance parties, and switch to a Dry Holi celebration.

We also collaborated with the action for climate change movement to spread the word amongst students who further took up the cause in their own capacity.

We are also running social media campaigns to make people more conscious of their choices.

With 1 day left for Holi, here is what you can still do to spread the word further:

1. Follow our social media pages (@dryholicampaign) on FB/ Instagram/ Twitter and take a pledge with the #DryHoliChallenge. 
2. If you know of any party being organized in your neighborhood take up the cause with them or help us get us in touch with the RWA/organizer. We promise to follow up! 

You might be thinking there is only a day left and there is nothing you can do that will make any change. But if all of the 350+ petitioners here accept the #DryHoliChallenge or even talk to one more person about the need to make our festivals eco-friendly then we make that tiny dent. And we promise to continue our fight to ban rain dance/ pool parties even after Holi.
