#BanRacistsFromAFL Let's kick racism out of the AFL

Thank you everyone who has signed our petition demanding the AFL ban racists for life. Your support has been truly overwhelming, but we still need your help to reach our goal of 100,024 signatures – the stadium capacity of the MCG! Click here to share the petition.

I started this petition after Jamarra’s mother, Alice posted this on Facebook.

“My son was racially discriminated against … by a St Kilda fan, Can you believe in 2023 the word ‘c***’ is still used? The word ‘c***’ thrown with reckless abandon, A slur that cuts deep like a sharp abandon, Its venomous tone, a reflection of hate, A reminder of how far we still have to go, it’s our fate. But we won’t give in, we won’t back down, We’ll stand up tall and For we know that love will always triumph over hate.”

There's still so much to be done to make sure that everyone, regardless of their background, feels safe and welcome in our sports community.

Please take a moment to share this petition with your friends, and family, and encourage others to stand up against racism. Enough is enough!
