Ban or further restrict the Sale of Cigarettes and High-Concentration Alcohol in Ireland

Ban or further restrict the Sale of Cigarettes and High-Concentration Alcohol in Ireland
The Issue
This petition comes from a place of personal pain and loss. My family has suffered greatly due to the effects of high-concentration spirits and cigarettes. We are not alone in this struggle; many families across Ireland share our grief.
In Ireland, alcohol is responsible for 88 deaths every month, according to Alcohol Action Ireland. Moreover, smoking is an even bigger killer with around 5,200 people dying each year from tobacco-related diseases as per Irish Cancer Society statistics.
We urge the government to take immediate action by making it illegal to sell and consume cigarettes and high-concentration alcohol in our country. By doing so, we can protect future generations from these harmful substances that have already caused too much damage.
Let's stand together against these silent killers that are tearing families apart. Please sign this petition today to help make a change for a healthier future for all Irish citizens.
