NEW INFO! February 2025: Lisa had someone obtain a senior dog from a county shelter, so she could foster it! Shelter was advised and got the dog back. Lisa did this because most shelters and rescues know her animal abuse history and will not allow her to foster or adopt. Will there be yet another animal related charge to add to her list? Her new alias on Facebook: Bella Lola.

Arranged dog transports from Texas and has traveled to Georgia and other states to get dogs!!! ***Her history is vast, heartbreaking and travels throughout multiple counties in NC and includes: Backyard dog breeding for profit, taking free pets off social media to flip for any amount of money, opening fake/unlicensed rescues, selling Parvo pups, selling dogs/pups infested with parasites, practicing veterinary medicine unlicensed, dogs found emaciated, living in their own waste, in kennels stacked on top of each other, deceased dogs found on property, wounded/deceased horse, etc. ***
ARREST HISTORY: 9/5/2024 Caldwell co NC: 59 counts of Misdemeanor Animal Cruelty and violating the sex offense registry. Bond: 99K in custody. Court date: 9/16/2024 Her partner Karen Renee Harris also charged with 59 counts of Misdemeanor Animal Cruelty. No bond or jail time. Court date: 10/7/2024 Total animals seized by Caldwell co Animal Control: 66

April 2010 Cleveland & Gaston co's. NC: Arrested/Charged with 2 counts of practicing veterinary medicine without a license. During this time, more than $2000.00 in civil fines for failing to comply with Gaston ordinances.
December 2010 Cleveland co. NC: Charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty for wounding/starving a horse.
1/30/2010 Cleveland co NC: Felony Obtaining property by false pretenses. Prison sentence. Incarcerated from 11/18/2013 to 5/16/2014.
Active on social media: Craig’s List, Facebook, Tiktok etc. for years. Known for changing her name and social media profiles.
Aligns herself with established rescues in other states because North Carolina rescues are wise to her. Most recently, Texas and Georgia. With possible ties to Alabama and Tennessee. Offers to take free dogs on social media and will drive to other states to pick up.
