Big update — included on the 10/21/25 Board Meeting agenda, the Town Board has announced it was scheduling a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Yorktown Town Hall (363 Underhill Avenue, Yorktown Heights) to consider a proposed local law amending Chapter 300-81.4: “Solar Power Generation Systems and Facilities.”

This is the moment we’ve been waiting for. The Town Board will decide whether to allow or restrict large-scale industrial solar projects in residential districts — and our voices need to be heard.

Now is the time to make your voice heard:
