It’s getting worse...

There has been much comment in the past few weeks regarding the unruly and dangerous behaviour of jet skis in Brightlingsea Harbour and the river Colne. I have re-kindled this petition to reflect the growing concern.

For years it has been hoped, by the Harbour Commissioners, that a campaign of education and welcoming responsible jet skiers would resolve the issue but very clearly that policy has not worked. I feel a tragedy is inevitable unless a complete ban is vigorously enforced.
