DDG is a known abuser who has a violent history that can deter others, especially those seeking the vibrant and accepting nature of anime and comic conventions, from attending due to concerns for their personal safety. These conventions are supposed to be safe spaces, particularly for the blerd community, and the recent alarming rise in violence against black women only heightens the urgency of addressing this issue.

A particularly troubling incident involves a public case of abuse against black women, combined with a recent altercation at a convention where DDG attacked another attendee, demonstrating utter disregard for the safety of those around him. This is unacceptable at events designed to foster creativity and community, and especially those attended by children and families.

Anime and comic conventions have always been a refuge for enthusiasts, offering a platform to celebrate and explore shared interests in a safe, inclusive environment. Allowing someone like DDG, who has shown violent tendencies and poses a potential threat to attendees, undermines the very fabric of what these conventions stand for.

We urge the organizers of these events to prioritize the safety of their attendees by banning DDG and his associates from conventions where children are present. Implementing this ban will not only protect vulnerable individuals but also reinforce the dedication to maintaining these events as inclusive and welcoming environments for everyone.
