Cyclists intimidating pedestrians and ringing the bells a hundred times per minute all the way along the road / pavement. Hurting other's ears and being rude and intimidating / bullying pedestrians and children.

If Every car that's behind a cyclist, hooted their horns at them, they'd understand how pedestrians feel when every cyclist rings the bell loudly in their ears as they cycle past, with plenty of space, but purposely bullying innocent pedestrians and their children and babies napping in prams.

Waking babies, and frightening everyone, making them jump suddenly, especially dangerous for elderly and those with heart conditions, PTSD, etc.

A bell is like a car horn, to be used in an emergency, to warn peopled suddenly to avoid accidents, it should NOT be used ALL THE TIME to SCARE and BULLY EVERY pedestrian.

Especially the huge number with sensory difficulties too.

Bells should be used just in emergencies and NOT ALL THE TIME!!!
