We have been advised by the electric transport society that electric bikes are likely to be legalised on the islands from next month! This is a huge step towards ending the exploitation of the horses on the island by offering an alternative legal means of transport! When we were on the island in May 2023, use of electric bikes on the islands were being banned! 
The golf carts are still under a planning phase at the moment. We appreciate the changes to the transport system are taking some time. We continue to communicate and work alongside the electric transport society to put pressure on the local government to make the necessary changes ASAP!
