Fianna Fail Councillor shamefully buys ad in hare coursing booklet

Fianna Fail Councillor Anne O’Sullivan (Kerry County Council, Tralee) has shamefully supported a local hare coursing club by advertising in a booklet for its latest animal cruelty event.

The Fianna Fail website shows that Cllr O’Sullivan paid €50 for an advert in the booklet for the 3-day Kilflynn coursing meeting which took place in September. https://transparency.fiannafail.ie/advertisement-134

“This bloodsport is opposed by the vast majority of Irish citizens,” we stated in a message to Cllr O’Sullivan. “It’s a shame that you are not among this majority who recognise that capturing defenceless animals and forcing them to run for their lives is unacceptable in modern Ireland.”
