Urge Ministers to remove Irish Hare from open season order

Coursers have been netting thousands of hares from the wild for use in cruel coursing - thanks to a licence shamefully granted by Heritage Minister James Browne and the National Parks and Wildlife Service. From the end of September, hunters have been free to blast hares to death and release packs of hounds to chase them, catch them and rip them apart https://npws.ie/legislation/irish-law/open-seasons-order
ACTION ALERT
HELP THE HARES: Urgently contact Ministers James Browne and Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Biodiversity Christopher O'Sullivan. Urge them to withdraw the 2026-27 hare coursing licences and remove the Irish Hare from the Open Seasons Order.
