A vet clinic in Kerry is being urged to disassociate from cruel hare coursing.
The Ballyduff Hare Coursing Club website lists Treacy & Sheehan Veterinary Clinic in Listowel as a sponsor.
In a section headed “Other Sponsors”, the hare coursing club states: “The following businesses have been very generous to us and their support is greatly appreciated”.
The coursing club also thanks three vets “for their continued support” - Richard Harty MRCVS, Causeway, Tom Quilter MRCVS and Tadhg Horan MRCVS, Listowel.
The “Other Sponsors” also include Stoker’s Lodge Tralee, McHale Building Providers, Swanky Bar Tarbert, Event Power Tipperary, Sheehy’s Londis Ballyduff, The Hopper Inn Causeway, Allwood Kitchens Causeway, Tomasisins Bar Lisselton, The Rambling Inn Abbeyfeale, Gerlyn Building Services and SJS Web Design Listowel.
