Please join the "Ban Hare Coursing" peaceful protest outside Powerstown Park in Clonmel this Sunday 16th February 2020 from 12 midday to 2pm.
The protest coincides with the last day of the 2020 “coursing finals”, a shameful event which sees pairs of greyhounds unleashed to terrorise defenceless hares - all for the amusement of a merciless mob who cheer the dogs on and gamble on which one will force the hare to change direction first.
Pressure is growing for a ban on this barbaric bloodsport. A RED C poll commissioned by ICABS found that a 77 per cent majority want hare coursing banned, with just 9 per cent disagreeing with a ban.
Please encourage friends and family members to accompany you to the protest.
