However, Black Gryphon, a YouTube creator who once voiced this vibrant character in a pilot episode nearly a decade ago, has since continued to claim ownership of Alastor's persona through fan songs and character roleplay. This persistence has caused significant distress in our community. Many fans, myself included, see no redeemable qualities in his ongoing portrayal that often lacks the depth and nuance the character truly deserves.

Imagine a character you cherish being represented in a way that does not align with what you love most about them. It's painful and disheartening, especially when it feels like the perpetrator refuses to move on. The fan community thrives on respect, creativity, and collaboration. Yet, the continuous roleplaying of Alastor by someone who no longer represents the official voice strikes a discord.

Our aim is not to incite any personal attacks against Black Gryphon but to restore the sanctity and authenticity of a character we've grown to love. Alastor's charm and complexity should be appreciated in a way that honors the creators' original vision and the community's fondness.
