Dear Supporters, For those of you that live here in B.C., I beg that you help our cause by contacting your local MLA. There are several ways you can go about contacting your MLA, below I have listed two methods of doing this. The first is adequate, the second is very effective. Adequate Method: 1. Send an email to your MLA, asking for their support of this petition and cause. Let them know you support this petition and that your vote in the next election will be influenced by their choice to support this. 2. If they respond, follow up with another email. It is plausible they will give you some sort of non-answer, if this is the case, ask them again in your follow up email. If they support our petition, please let me know (nedtaylor27@gmail.com). If you don't get a response from them within two weeks or so, send them another email asking for their support. Effective Method: 1. Phone the constituency office of your MLA and express your support for this petition and this movement. 2. During your call, ask for a 5 - 10 minute meeting with your MLA. When you meet with them, again express your support for this petition and let them know your vote in the next election will be influenced by their choice of support. If even just some of you follow through with either of these methods, it will make a big difference. I ask all of you that do live in B.C. to follow one of the methods I have provided. It will mean so much to me, and the over 2 million hens living in battery cages right now.
