Animal testing and research needs more attention!

A facility in Wallacia, Western Sydney, houses around 160 baboons bred for medical research. Reports have raised serious concerns about animal welfare, including restrictive housing, stress, injuries and 24 recorded baboon deaths between 2021 and 2025.

These animals should have never been captured and bred. Scientific research should never come at the expense of unnecessary animal suffering.
