The American soccer/futbol/football loving public has been subjected to the inane hot takes, insufferable and condescending remarks, and overall obnoxious personality of Alexi Lalas for far too long. Despite having a relatively mid career as a player known more for his hair than skill, and little knowledge of the sport compared to colleagues, he continues to be trotted out for every major soccer broadcast.

Please for the love of God ban him from every appearing on any TV program related to soccer (this keeps the door open for him to appear on Dancing with the Stars or Fox News, where his limited skill set and abrasive personality would be better served). We have John Harkes, Eric Wynalda, Clint Dempsey, Stu Holden, Cobi Jones and many other who could easily replace Lalas and annoy the public less with their opinions and personality. 

The American public has suffered long enough!
