Thank you so much for your past and continuing support of the Cross Street Market merchants. If you are a registered voter in the 46th Legislative District, which encompassed Federal Hill, Otterbein, South Baltimore, Locust Point, Canton, Fell's Point, Little Italy and Greektown, please let your Delegates and your State Senator know that you cannot support the issuance of a market-wide liquor license in the absence of a detailed plan by the landlord on precisely how they will assist the merchants. Once again, thank you for caring about the livelihoods of the Cross Street Market merchants! Dear I am a resident and voter in the 46th district and I support the Cross Street Market Merchants. It is my understanding that the developer, Caves Valley Partners, has decided once again that they wish to pursue renovations at the Market, Unfortunately, the developers have not informed the public or the merchants as to the details of their plan. I am asking you to oppose any new legislation creating a market liquor license until such time as the developer meets with the affected residents and merchants and the local community associations have a chance to weigh in on their proposal. Anything less would be jumping the gun and won't guarantee that the merchants will be treated with respect. Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to hear my thoughts on the issue.
