UPDATE: the landlord of 100 e 23rd has retaliated against me and the studio with blows below the belt. He has forced us to move out of the building. This is an attempt to silence our opposition to his construction of a bar. While we are between locations, Station North Sound will be running our sessions out of Tempo House Studio. Please book a session with us there to help us raise money for relocation.

I will continue to oppose the rezoning bill, 21-0087, and I urge all of you to do the same. The community deserves to have the recording space available—whether I am operating it or not. I will, however, be closing the petition, given that this issue is no longer primarily about me, but about community interests.

I am deeply indebted to all of you for supporting community-based music. We may have lost the battle, but we have not lost the war. I will continue to fight for the rights of artists in Baltimore to express ourselves, no matter the location. Stay tuned for further updates, and please don’t hesitate to reach out with comments, concerns or questions!
