We'd like to tell you about two more events this week: · A meeting in Pulborough on Sunday evening, including actress Sue Jameson, who came to a few of our Balcombe meetings and has supported us from the very early days. Some of you may remember her at the meetings which were held in the church. Professor David Smythe, a geologist who has been a great friend to Baclombe in so many ways, will also be speaking. · The brilliant satirical play 'Fracked' by Alistair Beaton is coming next week to The Theatre Royal Brighton and the following week to Richmond Theatre. Alistair Beaton was inspired after visiting the protests in Balcombe, and last year his play delighted Chichester Festival audiences. Lead actor James Bolam, like his partner Sue Jameson, has stood up for our cause in Balcombe. He attended the planning meeting at WSCC, and the couple have headed up tables for Kirdford and Wisborough Green alongside our own at various events. Great entertainment is the best way to entice people out of their houses and into an issue, so get some friends together and go... you'll start them thinking, and we can guarantee that they’ll enjoy it!
