Besides saying a thank you, let's also do something tangible to honor and cheer up our frontline heroes, one cupcake at a time. Let's come together and pledge to bake or buy (in support of your local bakery) and deliver 12 cupcakes/cookies to your favorite healthcare center, nursing home, fire station, etc. in your area. We as a community can share, care and love our fellow citizens who are daring to protect us from this deadly virus.

While holed up in my house during the pandemic, I was able to turn my baking passion into a real business opportunity. iCake was born from my kitchen in September of 2020 with a desire to combine profit with purpose. An outpouring of support from my community and a lot of positive feedback from my customers encouraged me to invest more time into my business since its inception. At this point, I fulfill at least 2-3 cake, cupcake, and cookie orders every week. My philosophy of honoring and bringing smiles to those who risk their lives on the front lines fighting Covid-19 by giving cupcakes to them has been extremely fulfilling. As much as 20% of our proceeds in sales go towards supporting local charities. 

As a high school junior, this has been such a great experience. My heart feels so full when I bring a smile to the face of someone selfless and courageous. iCake (https://www.facebook.com/iCakebyAashika/) has given out over 100 cupcakes in the last 100 days, and much more since its birth!
