Sad day

A while back I attended Provincial Offences court here in North Bay.  Kate and I were facing 3 charges keeping a hobby farm, selling commercially from a hobby farm, keeping hens contrary to the by law I was trying to change. Along with a $5,000.00 fine.

I plead guilty if they removed Kate's name from the charges and crown agreed to drop the first two hobby farm charges and dropped the fine to $500.00 and I plead guilty to breaking the bylaw 151-93 keeping domestic fowl. 

I have 8 months to pay the fine...

To me this is a grave injustice there should have been a moritorium on all this till the city either said no we won't change the bylaw at all or yes let's change it by a vote. It didn't even make it to a vote ...

I tried my best to make a change and now I'm forced to pay...it would be nice if there was someway to help offset all the costs I have incurred to help preserve our food soveigntry.
