We are proud to have the Support of the Nipissing  and Area Food Round Table, in our challenge to have this by law updated. 

With Their assistance they're giving us a new start and a new avenue to approach City Council. The idea is to form a focus group to research municipalities who've explored back yard hens. Gather information on what worked to have the by law passed in those towns and cities. As well as to find the concerns when bylaws weren't passed and address those concerns with rebuttals and factual information. 

Once completed we'd present the findings to the city to have them engage a more in-depth study. Engaging residents, community leaders/merchants and city staff on a fact finding session on Back Yard Hens. That information would be presented to council for them to then vote on a change.

Your attendance is required as a vital voice in the initial stage of this new endeavour for change.
