As of now, BC has one of the highest number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canada. With daycare closures happening in Quebec and Alberta, school and university closures happening in British Columbia and Ontario, it is only right for daycares in BC to close as well. Keeping these Daycares open puts everyone's health at risk.

Though younger children are less likely to show symptoms of COVID-19, the rate of transmission is just as high. The daycare environment is extremely susceptible to germs and illness. For the safety of childcare workers and their families, the children and their families in daycare, please close all daycares in British Columbia.
