El Grupo Vithas es propietario de distintos centros hospitalarios, uno de ellos se encuentra ubicado en la Malvarrosa. En este edificio se encuentra una colonia felina censada e inscrita en el Ayuntamiento que es atendida y sostenida por su alimentadora.

Tras reiteradas conversaciones con el Grupo Vithas, actual propietario del edificio, sigue negándose a permitir el acceso para atender a los animales. De estos hechos son conocedores el Ayuntamiento de Valencia, pero tras varios meses el problema está lejos de solucionarse.

En esta colonia hay crías, gatas embarazadas y gatos enfermos que necesitan atención veterinaria. Llega el invierno y estos animales siguen sin tener un lugar donde guarecerse del frío y la lluvia. Se les ha de proporcionar alimento a través de las rejas del recinto.

Estos animales llevan mucho tiempo ubicados en este lugar, disponían de unas casitas que fueron demolidas el pasado mes de agosto y ahora no disponen de ningún lugar donde cobijarse de las inclemencias del tiempo.

La cuidadora de esta colonia reclama al Grupo Vithas que le permita acceder al edificio con el fin de alimentar a estos animales, proporcionarles atención veterinaria necesaria, esterilizar  y disponer de un espacio donde los animales puedan resguardarse.

No es mucho pedir, estos animales no son ninguna molestia en el vecindario, hay vecinos preocupados por su bienestar pues todos vemos que ellos no están bien. Es triste ver que en pleno siglo XXI seguimos negando la atención básica a los animales que por desgracia tienen que vivir en la calle, se enfrentan solos a múltiples peligros a diario, virus y enfermedades, frío, lluvia, calor, posibles atropellos y accidentes, merecen ser cuidados y atendidos.

The Vithas Group owns several hospitals, one of them is located in Valencia (Spain). In this building there is a feline colony registered with the City Council, which is attended by a caregiver.

Grupo Vithas doesn't allow access to the building to care for cats. The City Council is aware of these facts, but after several months the problem is far from being solved.

There are kittens, pregnant cats and sick cats that need veterinary attention. Winter is coming and these animals still have no place to shelter from the cold and rain. Food must be provided through the gates of the building.

These cats have been in this place for a long time, they had some houses that were demolished last August and now they have nowhere to shelter from the inclement weather.

The caretaker demands that the Vithas Group allow her to access the building in order to feed these animals, provide them with the necessary veterinary care, sterilize and have a space where the animals can be sheltered.

Cats are not a nuisance in the neighborhood, there are neighbors concerned about their welfare. In the 21st century we continue to deny basic care to animals that unfortunately have to live on the street, they face dangers every day, virus, diseases, cold, rain, accidents. they deserve to be cared for.
