Hola a todos, me llamo Rafael Pozuelo García (España). Durante el último año me he dedicado en cuerpo y alma a escribir una novela spin-off basada en mi serie de anime favorita.

Que no es otra que Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Tras meses de continuo esfuerzo y pensar detenidamente el proceso creativo, pude terminarla, dicha novela alcanza más de 300 páginas escritas.

El título de la novela es Neon Genesis Evangelion Inferno I Metamorfosis, dicho libro es la primera parte de una saga formada por cinco novelas.

No he escrito esta novela con la esperanza de que llegue a ser un anime, ya que ello quedaría en manos del estudio de animación. Sino de que se le dé una oportunidad y llegue tanto para los fans de la serie como para los iniciados a la legendaria trama entre los Humanos y los Ángeles. Mediante un nuevo concepto que compone el multiverso creado por Hideaki Anno.

He puesto todos mis sueños en esta novela dedicada a Evangelion, así que me armé de valor y di el paso para enviar un mensaje de contacto con Estudio Khara (Japón), para negociar los derechos de adquisición.

Tras varias semanas de espera, me enviaron un correo electrónico que pertenecía a Ground Works Co., Ltd. (Y).

En dicho mensaje dicen ser los encargados de llevar la licencia de EVANGELION, alegan que como política de empresa no aceptan creaciones personales y aunque enviara el manuscrito, ellos no lo leerían. 

Me extraña bastante que no den oportunidad a una nueva incorporación tan entregada, sin haber comprobado siquiera de que iría el escrito. Reiterando además que en Khara poseen una decena de series spin-off de EVANGELION, incluida la novela Neon Genesis Evangelion Anima.

Tanto amigos como familiares me han instado a que cese en mi empeño y cambie el título junto a los personajes que lo forman. Pero no puedo. Si no, no tendría sentido alguno.

En vuestras manos dejo la posibilidad de cambiar esta percepción que tienen contra la libertad de escribir lo que uno quiere y llevar a cabo un nuevo nivel de entendimiento mutuo.

I have put all my dreams into this novel dedicated to Evangelion, so I plucked up the courage and took the step to send a contact message to Khara, inc (Japan), to negotiate acquisition rights.

After several weeks of waiting, they sent me an email that belonged to Ground Works Co., Ltd. (Y).

In this message they claim to be in charge of carrying the EVANGELION license, they allege that as a company policy they do not accept personal creations and even if they sent the manuscript, they would not read it.

It surprises me enough that they do not give an opportunity to a new addition so dedicated, without even having verified that the writing would go. Also reiterating that in Khara they have a dozen EVANGELION spin-off series, including the novel Neon Genesis Evangelion Anima.

Both friends and family have urged me to stop my efforts and change the title along with the characters that make it up. But I can not. If not, it wouldn't make any sense.

In your hands I leave the possibility of changing this perception that they have against the freedom to write what one wants and carry out a new level of mutual understanding.
