El objetivo de la presente petición es el apoyo a la situación que están viviendo las familias en expectativa de viajar a la República Socialista de Vietnam para poder encontrarse con sus hij@s, menores asignados oficialmente en el proceso de Adopción Internacional por el organismo central vietnamita, el DAI.

Desde el comienzo de la pandemia, sólo se ha realizado un único viaje “humanitario” autorizado para que familias de la Unión Europea pudiesen viajar a Vietnam para poder reunirse con sus hij@s. De este viaje han pasado ya ocho meses y en la actualidad hay familias que llevan más de 1 año esperando que les permitan ir a reunirse con sus hij@s.

Dichas familias empatizan con la difícil situación que, a raíz de la pandemia mundial ocasionada por la COVID-19, está sufriendo el pueblo vietnamita y de hecho, las familias del corazón son ya de por sí muy pacientes por el largo proceso que aceptan antes de involucrarse en una adopción internacional. 

            Las familias son conscientes de que NO existe un derecho a adoptar, sino más bien un derecho (el del menor) de ser adoptado o, mejor, de crecer en un entorno familiar que lleva meses preparándose para sus hij@s, en ningún lugar estarán mejor que en sus hogares en el que se les echa fuertemente en falta.

            Los niños institucionalizados pueden tener diferentes traumas, problemas del desarrollo, de apego, y con todo lo que esto conlleva y según el derecho de la infancia en el artículo tres dice: las autoridades sociales, administrativas y jurídicas han de tener en cuenta el interés superior de los niños y niñas cuando tengan que tomar una decisión en relación a ellos. Esto significa que su interés y su bienestar deben considerarse por encima de cualquier otro interés que pueda haber.

Como ya han demostrado durante todo el largo proceso de adopción, las familias están dispuestas a ajustarse a cuantos requerimientos se les exijan para asegurar el buen fin de la operación de recogida de los menores asignados.

Por todo lo expuesto nos dirigimos a ustedes y SUPLICAMOS para que, haciéndose cargo de la difícil situación, hagan todos los esfuerzos posibles para que los niñ@s puedan encontrarse con sus familias.

The objective of this petition is to support the situation that families are experiencing in expectation of traveling to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in order to meet with their children, underage officially assigned in the International Adoption process by the Vietnamese central body. the DAI.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there has only been one authorized "humanitarian" trip for families from the European Union to travel to Vietnam to be reunited with their children. Eight months have passed since this trip and currently there are families who have been waiting for more than 1 year to be allowed to pick up their children.

These families empathize with the difficult situation that, as a result of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, the Vietnamese people are suffering and in fact, the families of the heart are already very patient due to the long process they accept before getting involved in an international adoption.

Families are aware that there is NO right to adopt, but rather a right (that of the minor) to be adopted or, better, to grow up in a family environment that has been prepared for their children for months. Nowhere will they be as in their home where they are sorely missed.

Institutionalized children can have different traumas, developmental problems, attachment ... and according to children's law in article three it says: the social, administrative and legal authorities must take into account the best interests of children when they have to make a decision in relation to them. This means that your interest and well-being must be considered above any other interests that may exist.

As they have already proved throughout the long adoption process, the families are willing to adjust to whatever requirements are required of them to ensure the successful completion of the pickup operation for the assigned minors.

For all the above, we turn to you and WE BEG, taking charge of the difficult situation, make all possible efforts so that the children can meet with their families.
