We are writing to you regarding the current closure of all building amenities, including the fitness center, roof terrace, and 3rd floor common areas. While the residents at Axis certainly appreciate the seriousness of the COVID-19 situation and the necessity of implementing precautionary measures, we also trust that Axis Management will reduce monthly rent payments to reflect the closure of the building’s amenities.

As you know, the building’s amenities are the primary draw for current and prospective residents, and Axis markets the building accordingly. With the building’s amenities closed for the foreseeable future, proceeding with the expectation of full rental payments would not be equitable to the residents who make up the Axis community.
