Well. 

We knew it was coming but July isn't even here yet...

Trying to admit dishonesty now seems like an attempt to cushion the fall.. trying to beat the rush of stories in July. As though admitting his guilt now may reduce the sentence. 

The trouble is that's at least 3 years worth of deceit just on the 'affair' alone - nor does his confession detail their first meeting. 

And since then, there's been more mistruths; from lies about jumping queue's, to what he knew about his brother, now disowned. 

I hope the truth continues to surface, and the lies continue to catch him out, but it truly is a disgrace how much protection he has had.

I can't imagine it's going to be very comfortable on Holly's side of the sofa while the 'runner' pictures do the rounds. But then again, Holly is known for its prickly edges, so maybe she'll be just fine.
