More journalists have been killed in Gaza since Oct 2023 than in WWI and WWII combined.

Deliberately putting yourself in a situation of danger, with no weapon or means to defend yourself, in the pursuit of footage which will show the world the atrocities happening before your eyes is the absolute pinnacle act of courage.

To do it while the majority of public discourse is in Israel's favour, as it was when the conflict began, is an act of Love. Love for one's people, Love for those family and friends whose lives were cruelly snuffed out.

A desire to demonstrate that Love to the world, to change discourse, to get someone, anyone, any nation state to come in their defence.

I am in awe of the Journalists of Gaza.

The intentional targeting of journalists is a war crime."
