The Issue

As many people in eastern Kentucky have recently seen we had an autistic child at Johnson Central high school beaten by another high school student. The autistic child (whose  name will not be mentioned for his own privacy) was not able to defend himself. Multiple students stood around and watched as this abuse occurred with several even recording the incident. This video has made its way around the Internet several times.

This child deserves justice and the abuser deserves legal action. We cannot allow this type of abuse to happen in a public school system that our tax dollars pay for.  The abuser should be banned from all extracurricular activities now or in the future  and expelled from the public school system.

Give this child some dignity and help him have a voice because this is wrong on so many different levels. This deserves criminal action and I believe the abuser should be tried as an adult for the abuse of this autistic child in the local court system.

If the Johnson county school system is unwilling to take proper action I will be happy to take this in front of state legislators to give justice to the child who so desperately deserves it!
