Hello Play Unlimited supporters & activists, Thanks for supporting our petition aiming to end gendered marketing of toys. This week BigW advertised a catalogue called 'Total Toy Domination'. We think it's more suggestive of 'Total Gender Domination' as it labels pink page after pink page of toys as being 'girls toys' (14 to be exact) and blue page after blue page (22 pages) as being 'boys toys'. This catalogue is a great example of the kind of marketing Play Unlimited would like to eliminate in favour of more inclusive advertising which allows kids and consumers decide what's appropriate. Why not help us gain some support by passing on this petition to friends or family including the links below which illustrate the issue so well.
