The issue
Society. As of this moment, the ecosystem of the Great Barrier Reef is being put under the pressure to rebuild itself as a result of our poor management. The biodiversity is depleting, numbers of species is being lost, economic values on tourism have depleted putting us in times of strife and procrastination. Our individual assessment on the Great Barrier Reef is simple, it's not technology so we're not interested, it doesn't have free wifi so we won't make an effort. On average, every one of us will spend around 11 hours a day on electronics yet no one notices the damages we cause through overfishing, pollution, petroleum extractions, erosion, recreation, degradation and destruction. If we continue at the rate we are going, in 12-13 years, it will be gone, disintegrated into the toxic waters we create, turned to grains in the sand that once consisted of life and inspiration and admiration. The aim is simple. One of Australia's most diverse ecosystems is under threat of the human race, it is our responsibility, it's our duty, it's our goal to protect the Great Barrier Reef and rehabilitate and reconstruct our second world. Put an end to the destruction because in the end it's our life, it's our education, it's our knowledge and all it takes is one signature to achieve the impossible. It's another form of extra terrestrial life held in the palm of your hand. One stroke of a pen can make a massive difference for you, and for me.
