How would you feel if you did 8 weeks of work unpaid all while bills were rapidly piling up? How about if your child had to do the same work as a paid employee for months on end, but didn’t receive a single cent? Unpaid internships are cruel, and because you likely know someone who has been through one, or who may undergo one in the future, I’m asking to share the petition to your friends and family via social media, allowing us to be one step closer to banning the exploitation of workers through unpaid internships.
