Asking Australia to recognise the Covishield for Travel Rules.

It is heartbreaking when we read the news that UK travel rules putting those who are vaccinated with Covishield in the category of the 'unvaccinated'. Imagine it’s happening to you, your family or your parents who are either stuck in India or would like to travel when the international borders will open.

We had enough, we saw the families apart, we saw temporary visa holder’s struggle. We do not want more reasons/excuses for our loved ones to be separate from us here in Australia.

We interview the Australian Deputy Chief Medical Officer Professor Michael Kidd AM and he confirmed that till date Australia does not recognise the Covishield. Here is the link:

He also said that no one approached from India.

We are now asking the Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to approach the Australian counterpart and get the recognition for Covishield.
