Nominations for Australian of the Year close midnight on Sunday, if you haven't already done so please consider nomination EX SGT Michael Lyddiard, Bomb Disposal Technician who was badly wounded in Afghanistan, since being discharged he has obtained a degree, he does public speaking, raises money for charities, and his a highly competitive athlete, among his achievements is the 19.7km swim to Rottenest, try doing that with half of one arm missing and only 3 fingers on the other hand, not to mention of the total loss of sight in one eye and only partial sight in the other.
