As parents, we are always seeking the right education for our children. For my own three children our family have elected to use private education. While public education is free, we chose a different path--a path that inevitably frees up public school funding resources that were available for our three children. In a sense, by managing the full expenses of our children's education in a private school, we are aiding federal and state governments, easing the burden on public systems. 

Our shared narrative is echoed by countless families across the nation. 

We are asking for the recognition of this contribution, financial and otherwise, to the nation's education system. We propose that the government should consider making private school fees non-taxable. This move would not simply be a break for parents but a leap of affirmation, acknowledging a partnership whereby parents and the government co-lead in their commitment to quality education.
