Thanks to all of the advocacy surrounding Baloo he has been ADOPTED! The Orange Dot Crew (volunteer group at AAC that also championed this sweet boy) is assisting him in a smooth transition. 

The fight is not over however - it has long been the case that the Animal Services Office has failed to fully implement the No Kill Equation to which Austin committed over a decade ago, including needed behavior programs and foster/adopter training and support. We have been an important part of Austin's progress and achievement as a No Kill community, but we cannot continue to compensate for the failures of Austin's main public and private shelters. Please continue to advocate for these dogs.
