Your voices are being heard!

UNESCO considered the Aalst Carnival, and our call for de-listing, at a high-level meeting in Paris yesterday.

The matter will be an agenda item for the full UNESCO Committee meeting in Bogota, Colombia, in December.

IN AN UNPRECEDENTED MOVE, CONSIDERATION WILL NOW BE GIVEN FOR DE-LISTING.

This is not victory. But it is a very positive response from UNESCO.
