I often wish humans had the same fervor to end child abused as they do for say, sports games or fighting about a virus or politics.

As a child rape and trafficking survivor, every day my mind thinks of the children in this country who are being ignored as so many other issues gain momentum. 

I was asked once why I focus on the “negative.” My response was how can I not stay focused on the way children are mistreated? That’s not to say we as humans shouldn’t embrace happiness. Of course we should. We can be productive while not giving up on causes.

I will never give up. Until the day I jump dimensions from this planet or child abuse is ended, I cannot stop. My heart won’t let me.
