Dear Friends,
It is indeed a daily devotion for me to share and implore upon people to share this petition. I sometimes feel disparaged inside when I see petitions with hundreds of thousands of signatures, for causes that seem minuscule in the grain of what children experience every day while no one is looking.
The story of the Turpin children, how long those children were tortured while the neighbors ignored all the signs. I can’t quite understand why the condition of children is generally placed aside by the public.
My empathic heart wonders if this cause is too close to home for many people, bringing up the ghosts of their own past. Maybe it’s easier to project that pain into highly charged causes, mainly the trending ones, as opposed to the ones that dive into the root of the matter.
I can only hope that as I stay steady in sharing this petition, people will continue to see it, sign it and share it as well. I humbly ask you to join me, to not relent, keeping this cause in the faces of everyone you know. Please share it and ask your friends and followers to sign and share it.
Thank you, Vennie
