The Mt Roskill Borough Council Municipal Chambers are an iconic local landmark and an important part of our community's heritage.

Unfortunately the building is under threat. Shoddy work on later extensions to the building have created leakage and mould problems. The Council is now considering options for the future of the Chambers, and an option to 'exit and demolish' is on the table.

We believe that the orginal part of the building should be preserved and restored for community usage. The Chambers have been a part of Roskill's civic life since 1957, and there has been local government usage at the site since 1885. Please support the peition demanding that Auckland Council take the 'exit and demolish' option off the table.
